NIOEH x KHẮC HƯNG x MIN x ERIK, "Ghen Cô Vy" - Vietnam's catchy coronavirus PSA song helped spur Vietnamese dancer Quang Đăng's viral TikTok dance challenge that transforms thorough hand-washing techniques into trending dance moves.

Vietnam is combating the coronavirus pandemic one TikTok dance video at a time, thanks to Ho Chi Minh City dancer/choreographer Quang Đăng and his not-so-sick moves that demonstrate thorough hand-washing techniques.

His original TikTok video -- set to "Ghen Cô Vy," a coronavirus-specific version of the V-pop hit "Ghen" by singers Erik and Men -- has caught the attention of almost 3 million viewers, with Đăng and his matching friend scrubbing their palms and in between their fingers before drying off their hands with the dab in an effective routine.

Local lyricist Khắc Hưng teamed up with Vietnam's National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health to revise the original song's catchy melody into a pop remedy. "Ghen Cô Vy" encourages listeners to wash their hands by "rub, rub, rubbing evenly" and limiting "visits to crowded places," according to The Economic Times lyric translation.

Đăng's COVID-2019 disease-fighting dance moves started the #GhenCoVyChallenge on TikTok, following the World Health Organization's recommendation last month that regular hand-washing is a "simple and effective method to protect the community from diseases."

After calling on his followers to join his good, clean fun, "Ghen" original singer Erik, V-pop boy group Uni5 and more spread joy not germs in their own PSA dance moves. Scroll through the 10 best #GhenCoVy TikTok dance challenge videos below.
