CiderGirl and Gang Parade to Perform at Now Playing Japan Live Vol. 4

Billboard Japan

CIDERGIRL and GANG PARADE are the first round of acts participating in the fourth installment of NOW PLAYING JAPAN LIVE, an invite-only streaming event taking place Dec. 8 at Tokyo Dome City Hall.

Sponsored by Billboard Japan and Space Shower TV, the NOW PLAYING JAPAN project aims to create new music trends with the support of 12 major streaming services: Apple Music, Amazon Music, AWA, Utapass, KKBOX, Spotify, SMART USEN, dHits, YouTube Music, LINE MUSIC, Rakuten Music, and RecMusic.

Japanese band CIDERGIRL consists of three members whose faces remain undisclosed everywhere, including their own music videos, so fans can only see them in action during concerts. The band's name comes from its signature "bubbly" pop-rock sound, and the rising three-piece group is set to drop its second studio album, SODA POP FANCLUB 2, on Nov. 28.

GANG PARADE is the winner of the latest round of the STARTERS MATCH competition, in which breaking artists compete to become the most-streamed act on the participating streaming services. The 10-member female idol group is currently on the rise with songs such as "Brand New Parade" and "Loveyou" charting on Billboard Japan’s streaming tally.

More acts performing in the upcoming NOW PLAYING JAPAN LIVE will be announced soon.
