J-pop singer ReoNa teased a portion of her music video for "Kaibutsu no Uta," a track on her upcoming third single, "Null."

"Kaibutsu no Uta" was written and arranged by LIVE LAB. creator kegani, and is the 20-year-old anime singer's first original song -- not written for an anime series -- that she has been singing since she was 17.

The title of the track means "Song of a Monster," and the simply animated video depicts a girl who is being bullied by her peers and also appears to have a dysfunctional family. Watch below.

Negative emotions such as pain, loneliness and exasperation are expressed through a black monster chained to the girl that grows larger and fiercer as she falls into a downward spiral, even while she longs to be loved and accepted.

The singer released a 2-minute version of the colorless but affecting music video, and the full version will be included in the DVD accompanying the "Null" single, which goes on sale Aug. 28.

The rising artist now has an official YouTube channel and will be adding more content in the coming weeks, including past works along with newly made videos.
