BABYMETAL hit the Yokohama Arena this past weekend (June 28 and 29) for their first concerts of 2019, called BABYMETAL AWAKENS - THE SUN ALSO RISES.
Welcomed by thundering cheers and applause, Su-metal and Moametal appeared before the crowd wearing shimmering outfits, and after choosing one dancer from the three that joined them onstage, the kawaii metal group kicked off the 90-minute, 14-song set backed by its virtuoso "KamiBand."
The first-night set included a few songs off the band's upcoming new album, and F.HERO also appeared for the first-ever live performance of the recently released "PA PA YA!!" featuring the popular Thai rapper. Fans also found out after the show that the duo's highly anticipated third album will be called METAL GALAXY and is expected to drop Oct. 11 globally.
