After 25 years together, the iconic Irish boy band Boyzone announced their Thank You & Goodnight farewell tour, which will make a stop March 26 at KITEC's Star Hall in Hong Kong.

The band said in an email statement to Billboard Radio China: "When we started out as five young Dublin Northsiders, eager to face the world, we never imagined that we'd still have an army of fans some 25 years later... If you'd seen our famous first TV appearance on The Late Late Show, you'd probably be surprised too!"

The band continue, "But what followed was the stuff of dreams. We've played stadiums and arenas all over the world, released six albums, and had almost two-dozen hits. We really can't put into words just how much you, the fans, have supported us along the way. Without that support, we would have never achieved what we have, and for that we're eternally grateful."

Through more than two decades of their career, Boyzone have had some tough times too. The loss of member Stephen Gately left scars that they will carry forever. "We were immensely touched by all the tributes and messages of support that helped us through the dark days. Stephen was our brother and will always be at the very the heart of Boyzone," they said.

Boyzone released their last album, Thank You & Goodnight, through Warner Music in November last year. The group collaborated with Ed Sheeran for "Because" and dedicated a special tribute called "I Can Dream" to Gately, who passed away in 2009.

After Hong Kong, Boyzone will then travel to Australia and New Zealand for the final leg of the tour.
