The multi-talented Japanese star Dean Fujioka will release a new album called History In The Making next spring.

Fujioka first shared the news with his fans at a fan club concert in Osaka on Saturday (Nov. 3). The "History Maker" artist performed a mainly acoustic set featuring exclusive unplugged versions of his songs before announcing his new album, his first studio album in three years since his previous project, called Cycle.

During the event, the multi-lingual actor and musician told the crowd that he decided on the title of the new album with his fans in mind. "My second album is my musical journey since the release of 'History Maker' after finishing my last album, Cycle. I experimented musically, I messed up, I grew, and it's packed with the emotions I poured into each song," he said. "And I'll continue to grow! I chose this title because I thought it'd be great if we could all create our futures together."

The 38-year-old star, who has made a name for himself as an actor in the region, will hit Hong Kong and Taiwan for his first solo headlining concerts in Asia next year. The Born to Make History Tour will kick off Feb. 16, 2019, in Miyagi, Japan, and travel to 10 locations for 12 shows, including April 20 in Hong Kong and April 27 in Taiwan.
