Rhye announced his Blood Remixed album will be released Nov. 16. The 14-track album includes re-imaginations of Canadian singer Mike Milosh's sophomore album, Blood, which was released earlier this year to critical praise.

RY X's remix of "Waste" was recently released, joining the already-shared mixes of "Taste" by Moon Boots and Mano Le Tough. Washed Out, Tensnake and Channel Tres also will appear on the album.

RY X, who recently announced his forthcoming new album Unfurl, opens his rework of "Waste" with haunting synths and creates a house atmosphere through subtle swells and syncopated rhythms.

The video's director, Genevieve Medow Jenkins, draws from her, Rhye and RY X's shared experience of living in Berlin. It starts with a pair of nude figures in a spacious brownstone loft peering through the window in anticipation of what's to come before transitioning into a magnetic after-dark dance party inspired by the eclectic energy of Berlin's nightclubs.

New York City's Moon Boots opts to add a bit of his future disco sound to his take on "Taste," giving the song an all-night club vibe. Underground favorite Mano Le Tough's remix of "Taste" is the most experimental of the three, chopping Rhye's smooth vocals and disseminating them across propulsive beats and discordant pockets of synth stabs.

Milosh's new body of work was created after parting ways with producer Robin Hannibal and a breakup with his ex-wife, Alexa Nikolas. Blood sees the rebirth of Rhye and Milosh coming into himself fully formed. Rhye brings his tour to Asia in November.
