J-pop hitmaker Kenshi Yonezu continues to outdo himself, this time hitting a million views on YouTube with his latest music video in just over three hours.

The "Lemon" singer-songwriter released his new "Flamingo" music video online at 8 p.m. JST on Saturday (Oct. 20), shortly after first presenting it on two big screens in Shibuya, one over the Hachiko exit rendezvous space, and the other over the famous scramble crosswalk.

The video, featuring Yonezu dancing through what appears to be an underground parking lot, shot past a million views in just three hours and 17 minutes. This is about 10 hours faster than the million-views record for his previous video for his long-running hit "Lemon," which had also broken the record he held at the time.

Yonezu's highly anticipated new single "Flamingo" will be released next Wednesday (Oct. 31), coupled with "TEENAGE RIOT" as a "double-A" single.
