After the release of his hit single "Are You With Me" in 2014, 24-year-old Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies has attracted a growing fanbase worldwide, including China.
With a long-awaited tour, he brought his music to Chinese fans in September, when he played in Chengdu for the first time. He talked to Billboard Radio China backstage at Space Club Chengdu. Being a lover of foreign culture, he took time to explore Chengdu, and said he enjoyed seeing pandas and eating the famous spicy hot pot.
He explained that the name Lost Frequencies comes from making remixes of old tracks, or "lost frequencies," that he's bringing back to light. Though he is nostalgic about throwbacks, he doesn't shy away from exploring new combinations of music styles in his production.
