J-pop singer LiSA is set to release her 14th CD single, "Akai Wana (who loves it?)/ ADAMAS" on Dec. 12.

"ADAMAS," featured in the "double-A" single, is the opener of the new animated series Sword Art Online Alicization that began in October. LiSA wrote the lyrics, while the music was written by Kayoko and arranged by Shota Horie, both of whom also worked with the singer on her song "Shirushi," used as the ending theme of SAO II: Mother's Rosario.

"ADAMAS" graces the new anime series with its intense rock sound featuring LiSA's high-pitched voice against edgy guitar riffs that cut through symphonic string arrangements. This song will be LiSA's sixth to be featured in the SAO franchise, including the TV anime series, an animated feature film and video games originally adapted from a series of popular novels.

"ADAMAS" was released digitally Monday (Oct. 8), ahead of the CD release. No information has been released regarding the other song featured in the CD, "Akai Wana (who loves it?)," except that it's written by LiSA, Tomoya Tabuchi of the Japanese rock band UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, and Shota Horie.
