Singer-songwriter Miliyah Kato has joined the roster of the RockCorps 2018 concert scheduled for Sept. 1 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, along with Ellie Goulding and Japanese rockers BLUE ENCOUNT and KEYTALK.

Kato is a singer with a loyal following among young women in Japan, with such songs as "Aitai," "Love Forever," and the Japanese version of "How Far I'll Go" from the Disney movie Moana among her long list of hits.

The 30-year-old songstress says she feels honored and excited to be included in the project. "I'm imagining that everyone's hearts will join together as one through volunteering and light up the concert," she says in the press release. "I'm sure it'll be an amazing day. I'm looking forward to the heartfelt celebration!"

RockCorps supported by JT 2018 is a project that encourages people to participate in 38 different volunteer programs organized in partnership with 32 organizations and local governments to receive tickets to the exclusive RockCorps concert. The volunteer programs run for about five months from April 12 to Aug. 31.
