J-pop boy band <a href="/music/news">NEWS</a> jumps to No. 1 on the latest Billboard Japan Hot 100, dated June 25 to July 1, with "BLUE," the song currently being used as NTV's World Cup theme song. The four-member Johnny's group comes in at No. 1 for physical sales with 172,731 copies sold, and also rules look-ups and Twitter mentions.

K-pop artist Jaejoong's "Sign" came in a close second this week, accumulating points in Twitter (No. 2), physical sales (No. 2), look-ups (No. 9), and downloads (No. 14).

DA PUMP's "U.S.A." is at No. 1 for video views for the third week in a row, and also rises 2-1 for streaming and 3-2 for downloads. This indicates that the song has entered a cycle that produces long-running hits, much like <a href="/music/Kenshi Yonezu">Kenshi Yonezu</a>'s "Lemon," which continues to hold strong at No. 1 for downloads and No. 2 for video views.

"Lemon" is also still performing well in look-ups, which counts the number of times a CD has been ripped to a computer, so it will be interesting to see if DA PUMP's comeback single is able to match Yonezu's hit in this area as well in the weeks to come.

The Billboard Japan Hot 100 combines physical and digital sales, radio airplay, Twitter mentions, YouTube and GYAO! video views, Gracenote look-ups and audio streams from Apple Music, AWA, Google Play Music, KKBOK, LINE MUSIC, Rakuten Music, Recochoku provided by Gfk Japan, as well as streaming counts based on lyrics displayed on PetitLyrics.
