<a href="/music/NMB48">NMB48</a>'s "Yokuboumono" blasts in at No. 1 on this week's Billboard Japan Hot 100, dated April 2 to 8. The popular J-pop girl group's new single rules physical sales with 207,448 copies sold and comes in at No. 6 for look-ups and No. 8 for Twitter mentions.
<a href="/music/Kenshi-Yonezu">Kenshi Yonezu</a>'s "Lemon" steps down a notch after holding the top spot for two weeks, but it still dominates downloads for the eighth consecutive week and video views for the sixth. It's also still at No. 1 for look-ups and holding steady in other metrics of the chart's measurement as well, coming in at No. 7 for physical sales, No. 9 for radio airplay, and No. 10 for Twitter. It still has the potential to retake No. 1 on the Japan Hot 100, depending on the physical sales points of upcoming new releases.
Masaki Suda's "Sayonara Elegy," at No. 8 on this week's Japan Hot 100, continues to rule the streaming metric for the fifth inconsecutive week. It slipped to No. 2 for a couple of weeks in between but retook the top spot, where it's been sitting for the third week in a row. Combined with its strength in video views and downloads, it looks like the song will stay in the upper ranks for a while.
