Japanese Collective PKCZ® Set to Debut Worldwide with Snoop Dogg Collaboration
PKCZ® -- the Japanese music and design collective featuring DJ Makidai, Verbal and DJ Daruma -- will drop their first worldwide single, "BOW DOWN FT. CRAZYBOY from EXILE TRIBE," written in collaboration with <a href="/music/Snoop-Dogg">Snoop Dogg</a>.
The trap-infused hip-hop number features <a href="/music/Crazyboy">Crazyboy</a>, which is the name Elly from <a href="/music/Sandaime-J-Soul-Brothers">SandaimeJ Soul Brothers</a> goes by when performing as a rapper. Up-and-coming Korean-American music producer Yultron, based in Los Angeles, made the beats for the track.
The group's world-debut single will be released Feb. 23 on the Dutch label Trap City & Spinnin' Records. Spinnin' Records is a leading EDM label featuring standouts such as <a href="/music/Calvin-Harris">Calvin Harris</a>, <a href="/music/Tiesto">Tiesto</a> and <a href="/music/Afrojack">Afrojack</a>.
PKCZ® intended to go global from its inception in 2014, and the unit has steadily built up an international following through its releases and headlining concerts overseas. The group toured Taiwan, Korea and the Philippines in 2016 and performed at the dance music festivals Tomorrowland and ULTRA Singapore in 2017.
