Venezuelan Latin rock band Caramelos de Cianuro invaded international stages with the Latin Grammy nominated album 8, and now they are back for more. The band will be performing in California in March.

Recently, singer and leader of the band Asier Cazalis talked about the upcoming material from the band for 2018: "We have two albums waiting. I'm in Caracas recording something for the unplugged [album] we will be releasing pretty soon. It came with funny intentions, but we like the result. It is a return to our beginnings with the raw tone of it."

Cazalis further elaborated on the new album: "We haven't started to record because we are busy with the unplugged, but [about] 70 percent is ready, and we might be releasing it in the beginning of 2019."

The band experiments with the material, and their singles "Secreto" and "El Instante Pasó" can be seen in the recent video that was directed by the band's vocalist.

Carmelos de Cianuro has made a name for themselves in the Venezuelan alternative rock scene and was recognized with a tribute in the Nuevas Bandas Music Festival in 2016. Fans are counting on the band to live up to their previous success and have taken to the comments section of the band's social media accounts to voice their expectations.
