Solo projects are common once members of bands have achieved continued success, so it is no surprise that La Vida Bohème vocalist Henry D'Arthenay has decided to make his debut as a solo artist.

La Vida Bohème have made a name for themselves in the Latin music alternative scene with their 2017 album, La Lucha. The album even earned them a spot on Rolling Stone magazine's Top 10 Best Latin Albums of 2017 list along with Juanes, Bomba Estéreo, Natalia Lafourcade, Residente and more.

La Vida has also performed material from the LP at several prominent festivals across Mexico and Latin America throughout the past year. With this success, D'Arthenay decided that 2018 was the best time to release his first solo single, "Amor Azul."

The new material from the singer-songwriter, which was produced by La Bestia Records, showcases his electronic and experimental side.

D'Arthenay revealed that he is working toward possibly releasing his new project later this year. In the meantime, you can catch him onstage with La Vida Bohème in March at Estéreo Picnic Festival in Colombia along with The Killers, Gorillaz, LCD Soundsystem, Lana Del Rey, DJ Snake and more.
