Elmo Magalona Renews Contract With Universal Records Philippines for Second Album

Filipino rapper/singer/actor Elmo Magalona expressed gratitude to his record label before his contract signing event at the Universal Records Tower on Oct. 24. 

"I would like to say thank you to Universal for giving me my first album," Magalona shared. "To me, I think it was successful because I got to do tours and a lot of people supported my album. Thank you for giving me that opportunity, and this is gonna be my second one ever so I'm super excited."

Magalona released his self-titled debut album under the same label in 2016, and is now set to release a follow-up by early 2018. While he might not be one to spoil the surprise on what fans can expect from his forthcoming project, Magalona shares his creative process and the thoughts behind his musical styles.
