SKY-HI's new digital-only solo album, Marble, was released exclusively on iTunes Oct. 6 in advance of his tour, which includes stops in several cities abroad.

A Spikey John-directed video of the title track from the 10-song album has also been released, and the set is off to a great start so far hitting No. 1 on the iTunes Japan album ranking.

SKY-HI is the name AAA member Mitsuhiro Hidaka goes by for his solo endeavors. The Japanese rapper and singer embarked on the SKY-HI Round a Ground 2017 Tour on Wednesday (Oct. 11), and will play 25 concerts in 24 cities including stops in Shanghai, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, New York, Paris and London. This will be his first time performing in cities outside Japan.

Marble was released to serve as a primer of his songs and includes eight of his most popular releases and two new tracks.

The title song conveys SKY-HI's vision of the drama born in a world made up of different people and the joys and pains of living in it, sending a heartfelt message of diversity and tolerance. He delivers his inspirational lyrics over a warm track created by KM and arranged by Chaki Zulu, and the song features Atsuki Yumoto of Fire Horns on trumpet. The mellow blend of pop and hip-hop exhibits SKY-HI's emotional message poignantly, and the song marks the beginning of a new stage in his career.
