Hitmakers Tetsuya Komuro and Daisuke Asakura's new unit, Pandora, performed live for the first time this past weekend (Sept. 16-17) at Ultra Japan 2017.

The duo's new song, "Be the One," is currently being used as the opening theme of the superhero television series Kamen Rider Build, and the music video of the TV version released on YouTube has been viewed over 1.2 million times to date.

Pandora's first live performance was eagerly anticipated, as both Komuro and Asakura are veteran artists and music producers in their own right, and the duo didn't disappoint in their 30-minute set, which was compact but impeccable.

The weather turned out to be on their side as well, since the typhoon slowly approaching Tokyo over the long weekend swerved slightly off-course and didn't disrupt the festival.

Toward the end of the set, Komuro invited Beverly, the vocalist featured on "Be the One," onto the stage to perform the full version of the song. The 23-year-old Filipino singer, who opened for Ariana Grande's Dangerous Woman Tour dates in Japan, contributed her impressive vocal chops to the track made by two of the biggest names in Japanese dance music, and their solid performance was met with the thunderous applause of satisfied Ultra festival-goers.
