Carly Rae Jepsen was in Japan this week promoting her Japan-only CD release, Cut to the Feeling: Emotion Side B+, and apparently had a blast.

The album includes tracks that didn't make it onto her 2015 hit album, Emotion, plus the first-ever CD release of "Cut to the Feeling," which is currently being used in a TV commercial for a major cosmetic brand.

The song came in at No. 5 on the iTunes Japan ranking and is already rapidly gaining in popularity, so we'll see if it becomes her next big hit after the pop phenomenons "Call Me Maybe" and "I Really Like You."

The 31-year-old Canadian singer arrived in Tokyo on Monday (Sept. 11) and made rounds on TV and radio to promote her album. From the looks of her numerous Instagram updates, she also found time to shop in Harajuku and enjoy some of the local food.

She described the spicy-looking ramen as "Heaven" and seemed completely at home, which isn't surprising since it was her 14th time visiting the country.

"I'm so excited to be able to deliver this wonderful album to my Japanese fans," she said. "I hope everyone likes it!"
