American Idol Scotty McCreery Celebrates Southern Belles in New Video: Watch

It looks like Scotty McCreery found himself plenty of cheerleaders in his brand new video, “Southern Belle.”

The American Idol Season 10 winner puts members of the cheerleading squads from Nashville’s Belmont and Lipscomb Universities front and center in the clip, which celebrates the women of the South.

McCreery is also backed by the Vanderbilt University marching band as he declares that there's "nothing like a down home girl.”

The 22-year old Garner, North Carolina native is set to release his third album in 2016. His book, Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Towards the Dream, arrives May 2, 2016.
