The "Honey, I'm Good" singer weighs in on the season 14 showdown.

Andy Grammer knows a thing or two about winning. After years spent busking for change, the singer-songwriter has a legit hit on his hands with the song "Honey, I'm Good" (up 11 spots on this week's Billboard Hot 100 to No. 17). So his opinion on who will win American Idol counts.

Grammer's pick: not entirely surprising considering the two are set to perform on the season 14 finale tonight (May 13).

"Nicki Fradiani," he told Billboard at BMI Pop Awards on Tuesday (May 12). "I think he's going to win, and hopefully I can help him do that."

Coming into the final showdown, it was hard to tell which way the audience was leaning: towards Connecticut native Fradiani or Tennessee's Clark Beckham.

But no matter who wins or loses, there is lots to look forward to as the show rides off into the sunset. "I'm glad they're going to give it another season," said Grammer. "Give it a grand farewell instead of just petering out."
