Oh, by golly, we'll have a holly, Dolly Christmas this year--thanks to Dolly Parton.

The country icon announced on Wednesday (Nov. 11) a one-hour festive special, A Holly Dolly Christmas, set for Dec. 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT on CBS and via livestream/on demand at CBS All Access.

The entertainment event comes on the heels of her holiday album of the same name, which features a sparkling mix of Christmas classics and star-studded collaborations with Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, Michael Buble, Jimmy Fallon, Willie Nelson and more.

The A Holly Dolly Christmas album entered Billboard's Top Country Albums chart at No. 1. It has climbed as high as No. 16 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.

“I am so proud to be a part of the CBS family this holiday season with my new Christmas special,” said Parton in a press statement.

“When Dolly Parton calls and tells you she wants to do a Christmas show, you don’t hesitate,” mirrored Jack Sussman, executive vice president of specials, music and live events/alternative and reality for CBS. “A special with the multi-Grammy Award-winning, prolific song-writing, epic live performer of all time? She had us at hello. There’s only one Dolly Parton, and we are so excited to be bringing her to viewers this holiday season.”
