Surrounded by candy canes and Christmas trees, Pentatonix helped kick off the holiday season with one of their complex-but-pristine a cappella arrangements, singing "Joy to the World" at NBC's Christmas in Rockefeller Center tree-lighting ceremony.

The five-person group has become well-known for their Christmas music, releasing the PTXmas EP in 2012 and 2014's best-selling holiday album, That's Christmas to Me. Pentatonix also put out a deluxe edition of that album in October, which includes the rendition of "Joy to the World" heard at the tree-lighting ceremony.
