Spandau Ballet's Tony Hadley Shakes Up Christmas With New Single: Exclusive Premiere

As soon as the jack-o-lanterns and cobwebs come down, the red and green lights and tinsel goes up, and with the Christmas season comes Christmas albums. While you're buying your tickets to the local Nutcracker ballet, another ballet is coming into town.

Spandau Ballet Recording First New Studio Album In 25 Years

Former Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley is releasing his first Christmas album, aptly titled The Christmas Album. In preparation of the album's release, Billboard has an exclusive premiere of the first single, "Shake Up Christmas," a cover of a Train song.

Of the track, Hadley said, "I'm a massive fan of the band Train but discovered 'Shake Up Christmas' purely by accident. What a pleasure it was to record it as my first single from The Christmas Album."

The album features 16 tracks, two of which are brand-new and co-written by Hadley. The album will be available Nov. 27 via Verve Records.
