Chloe X Halle Perform Soulful Cover of 'Where is the Love' at 2019 Grammy Awards: Watch

Chloe x Halle might have been up for best new artist at the 61st annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night (Feb. 10). But the teenage sibling duo from Atlanta took to the stage at the Staples Center to pay tribute to one of their musical forebearers during the show, playing a stripped-down version of "Where is the Love" made famous by late soul great Donny Hathaway, who had a hit with the song in 1972 with Roberta Flack.

The duo -- fresh off their lauded performance of "American the Beautiful" at Super Bowl LIII in their hometown -- wore elegant black gowns as they scaled through swooping, operatic trills over a spare beat during the mesmerizing performance.

The brief set came as the duo waited to see if they made it to the winner's circle for best new artist, one of the last awards scheduled during the telecast.
