Watch Sting & Shaggy Perform 'Englishman In New York' & 'Don't Make Me Wait' at 2018 Grammys
Sting and Shaggy consider themselves "the not-so-odd couple," but the duo assuredly turned heads when they took the stage together at the 60th Grammy Awards on Sunday (Jan. 28). Yes, the English rock legend and the Jamaican-American hitmaker are now besties, and they have a joint album coming out soon – and no, it's not a prank.
Sting opened with his jazzy 1987 reggae song "Englishman In New York," which they segued into their joint single "Don't Make Me Wait," and then back to "Englishman." Safe to say a month ago no one expected Sting to perform a song that peaked at No. 84 on the Hot 100 in the late '80s and then bring out Shaggy at Music's Biggest Night. But hey, the last few years have demonstrated we live in the craziest of all possible universes. (And honestly, it was kind of cool.)
Watch it above.
