The all-star LA event will now take place Aug. 8.

The star-studded Lovers & Friends festival has landed on a new date after being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Goldenvoice-promoted event that was originally supposed to take place May 8-9 at The Grounds at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif., has been scaled back to a one-day affair on Aug. 8 at the same location, but with a reshuffled lineup.

According to a new poster on the site for the sold-out festival, it will feature Ms. Lauryn Hill, Usher, Ludacris, Lil Jon and TLC, as well as Doja Cat, Donell Jones, Jhené Aiko, Summer Walker, Megan Thee Stallion, Nelly, T-Pain, Lil Kim, Brandy, Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Eve, Ginuwine, SWV, Saweetie, Ma$e, Trick Daddy, Dru Hill, Next, 112, Mario, Foxy Brown and more.

"Thanks for your patience as we’ve been figuring out how to make the show go on," reads a statement on the event's Instagram. "In light of recent circumstances, Lovers & Friends Festival has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 8 at The Grounds at Dignity Health Sports Park and is now only one day. Ticket purchasers for the original dates will be notified in the next few days with details about their order. We look forward to hosting you this summer."

Among the acts listed on the original poster who appear to have dropped off are MyaAkon and Sean Paul.
