No Injuries Reported Following Coachella Campground Shower Fire

A "fully involved" fire that broke out in the showers of the Coachella campground was doused and detained by firefighters in the early morning hours of Saturday (April 13).

Footage of the blaze started trending on social media shortly following its ignition close to the entrance of the festival, with attendees evacuating the showers as flames engulfed the bathing area.

The Riverside County Fire Department was on the scene and responded to the fire after 2 a.m. They confirmed that one trailer was destroyed and one damaged after the incident, and added that no injuries caused by the fire were reported to authorities.
