Travis Scott, Post Malone & Panic! at the Disco Headlining Firefly Festival
The annual Delaware festival also announced its new S.P.A.R.K. engagement program and extensive campout offerings.
Firefly Festival is set to return to the Woodlands in Dover, Delaware, for an eighth year and on Monday (Dec. 10) AEG Presents announced the lineup for the East Coast's largest music and camping festival.
"High Hopes" rockers Panic! at the Disco will headline Friday night, Astroworld rapper Travis Scott will headline Saturday and Post Malone will close out the festival on Sunday. The weekend will also feature performances by Kygo, Tyler, the Creator, Vampire Weekend, DJ Snake, ZEDD, Death Cab for Cutie, Brockhampton, Courtney Barnett, TLC, Lykke Li, Bishop Briggs, Lauren Daigle, Alison Wonderland and more.
“We are thrilled to be able to share this Firefly lineup, filled with fan favorites as well as incredible up and coming talent,” says Alicia Karlin, Firefly talent buyer and 2018 Billboard Women in Music honoree. “In addition to all the music, we’re launching some new initiatives that will surprise longtime fans as well as those joining us for the first time. We want fans to leave the festival with a newfound excitement around the Firefly experience.”
Next year, Firefly is launching the Start Participating And Receive Karma Program, or S.P.A.R.K., developed to help Firefly fans connect before, during and after the festival through a variety of meaningful online and in person interactions. The S.P.A.R.K. Program includes meet ups, volunteering opportunities, team sports and other group activities offered at no cost to fans.
Also new in 2019: The Great Atlantic Campout, a new immersive camping experience where fans can choose between two locations that each offer a unique experience. Both the North and South camping grounds will include camping hubs and ranger stations. Camping hubs will each feature different amenities but include activities such as daily yoga, panels, speakers and meet and greets, silent discos, intramural sports, spruce up stations and permanent showers, as well as a farmers market, general store, Bloody Mary bar and shuttles between North and South camping. Ranger stations act as a community resource where festival-goers will be able to access information, find support and engage in other activities throughout the weekend.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 12 p.m. EST at fireflyfestival.com with general admission tickets starting at $279.
