Viagra Boys, Amanda Palmer, Puma Blue, The Beths and more are set for showcases.
With South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival just five months away, the festival's organizers have revealed the initial set of 240 musicians that are set to perform in downtown Austin, Texas.
The music portion of 33rd annual festival will run March 11-17 and features a diverse set of musicians representing every genre. Attendees will be treated to performances by Viagra Boys, Amanda Palmer, Puma Blue, The Beths, Amyl & The Sniffers, Gaelynn Lea, PNTHN, Drahla, Ezra Collective and many more.
In addition to the performances, the annual festival will include the SXSW Conference, which includes previously announced keynote speakers Shirley Manson of Garbage, Lauren Mayberry of CHVRCHES, Wyclef Jean, songwriter Ross Golan and Amanda Palmer speaking on topics relevant to the music industry. The topics for the SXSW Conference have yet to be announced.
