The Best Backstage Moments from Outside Lands 2017 With Empire of the Sun, San Fermin, R.A.C. and More

At this year's Outside Lands, Billboard -- in collaboration with Café Bustelo® -- caught up with some of the festival's top performers to play a few games and, of course, drink some coffee.

Luke Steele from Empire of the Sun revealed that he has indeed Googled himself ("It's part of my job," he argues) and also lied to get out of a speeding ticket. He also demonstrated his go-to dance move saying that it stemmed from drama school. "It always became [a way] to captivate the audience."

The 8-piece band San Fermin all took turns answering questions in a game of "Fishing for Answers," which included their most embarrassing moment on stage and what inspires them most. Ellis Ludwig-Leone touchingly answered the latter saying it was his other bandmates that inspired him the most.

Producer RAC before playing a game of "First Best Last Worst," admitted that he was on his third cup of coffee of the day already. During the game he made note of his Instagram addiction, particularly with Instagram Stories and also had this to say about misconceptions about musicians: "I think there's this glamorization of touring -- there's a lot of great moments followed by a lot of very boring, annoying moments like getting stuck in an airport for eight hours."
