Indie favorite the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will headline the Sound on Sound Festival this fall (Nov. 10-12). Iggy Pop, Grizzly Bear and The Shins round out the headliner slate for the second annual event, which is set to return to Sherwood Forest, a medieval-style village located outside Austin, Texas.

The SOS Fest’s diverse mix of established and emerging acts also includes Blood Orange, Electric Wizard, Pusha T, Kehlani, Vince Staples, Sleep and Ministry. A rare reunion of the alternative hip-hop trio Digable Planets, a dedicated DJ stage and performances by various Texas-bred talent are among the three-day event’s additional highlights.

Seeing the Yeah Yeah Yeahs atop the bill is also of particular note. The NYC punk veterans haven't played a show since late 2013 (back when they were promoting that year's Mosquito LP) and this is the first gig they've announced since the lengthy layoff.

Once again, the SOS Fest will benefit the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM). Nearly $15,000 was donated last year to the nonprofit organization, which provides affordable healthcare for low-income, uninsured working musicians in the greater Austin area.

Weekend general admission and VIP passes are now available to purchase. For more information, visit www.soundonsoundfest.com.
