Radiohead, Mumford & Sons, Kendrick Lamar, LCD Soundsystem Top 15th Austin City Limits Fest Bill

Radiohead and Mumford & Sons (in their first-ever ACL appearances) will join Kendrick Lamar, LCD Soundsystem, Major Lazer, and Kygo as headliners at the 15th anniversary edition of the Austin City Limits Music Festival, set for Sept. 30-Oct. 2 and Oct. 7-9 at Austin’s Zilker Park.

More than 130 bands across eight stages are booked for the festival, produced by C3 Presents (acquired by Live Nation in late 2014). Also booked are Chris Stapleton (weekend one), The Chainsmokers, Flume, M83, Haim, LL Cool J, Anderson Paak & The Free Nationals (weekend two), Nataniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Margo Price, Gallant, St. Lucia (weekend one), Bob Moses and The Strumbellas, Melanie Martinez, AlunaGeorge, Nothing But Thieves, Wild Belle and Anderson East (weekend two).

Texas legend Willie Nelson will return on weekend two for the first time since his performance in 2006, along with more than 20 homegrown talents including Kacey Musgraves (weekend one), Blue October (weekend one), Wild Child (weekend one), Israel Nash (weekend one), Bayonne (weekend one), Walker Lukens & The Side Arms (weekend two), Keeper (weekend two), and Asleep at the Wheel, the latter commemorating their 15th year performing at the festival).

Based on suggestions received through annual surveys and through regular communication with festival attendees online, ACL Festival will implement multiple onsite enhancements in an effort to improve the overall festival experience. Changes include adjusted stage placements for better sound and crowd flow, additional water stations, a market offering healthy snacks and festival amenities, a re-imagined festival merchandise shopping experience, a dedicated family entrance, and a shaded location for Austin Kiddie Limits. Attendees will also experience a variety of photo-ready installations, anniversary celebration pieces, and more activities to enjoy between performances.

Austin City Limits Music Festival will also mark the 10th anniversary of its partnership with the Austin Parks Foundation (APF, with proceeds each year going directly towards improving Austin's green spaces. Over the past decade, ACLMF fans have contributed more than $20 million towards the improvement and enhancement of Zilker Park, as well as parks all across the city, simply through their patronage of ACL Festival.

Three-Day General Admission Tickets ($255) for both weekends go on sale today at 10am CT at 3-Day VIP and Platinum tickets and hotel packages are also now available. Music fans ages 10 and under will be admitted free of charge accompanied by a ticketed adult. One-day GA tickets will be available later in the year, and for the first time, one-day VIP Tickets will also be available.

The Official 2016 Austin City Limits Music Festival Live Broadcast will be offered exclusively on Red Bull TV, which is distributed digitally for free on the web, connected TV platforms, smartphones and tablets. The Live Broadcast can also be viewed via, where the full schedule of performances will be announced in September.
