Since the pivot to livestreaming began amidst the coronavirus pandemic, Insomniac Events has been on the forefront of taking festivals online, hosting a different iteration of their many events -- Middlelands, Countdown, Escape -- each weekend during quarantine.

Now, the Los Angeles-based mega-rave production company is taking its flagship event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, to the Internet via a three-day livestream set to launch May 15-17, the weekend EDC was supposed to go down at the Las Vegas Motorspeedway before canceling due to the pandemic. The IRL festival, which draws more than 400,000 fans over three days, has been rescheduled for Oct. 2-4.

More than 200 of dance music's biggest acts, including The Chainsmokers, Major Lazer and David Guetta, were scheduled to perform in Las Vegas before the show was canceled. Although no lineup has yet been announced for the EDC Las Vegas livestream, the event will be hosted by Pasquale Rotella, the Insomniac founder and CEO who's been at the helm of all of Insomniac's weekend livestreams. Livestream bonus content is set to include artist interviews, giveaways and more.
