The return of Jamie xx has been a highlight of quarantine, with the British producer releasing his first new solo music since 2015 with his new single "Idontknow."

The producer, who became a dance world hero for his Grammy-nominated 2015 debut solo LP In Colour, delivered additional output over the weekend in the form of his first solo Essential Mix since 2011. The two-hour mix amalgamates his own work with that of composer Philip Glass, Peter Gabriel, The xx, Coreless, Ajda Pekkan and lots of excellent, unidentified tracks. (Keen ears will also catch samples from Tag Team's "Whoomp (There It Is)" and Enya's "Boadicea.")

"The Essential Mix has always been an important one for me, been listening to it since before I was allowed to go to clubs,"  the producer wrote of the mix on Instagram. "I spent the last two weeks trying to finish music so that it could be in here. Had a lot of fun! I hope you enjoy and can dance around your houses to it, and with friends online."

Listen to Jamie xx's Essential Mix over at BBC Radio 1.
