The performance will be available to stream on Guetta's social channel and via Billboard Dance.

With an arsenal of era-defining hits to his name, the David Guetta ethos can aptly be summed up as "go big or go home." But this Saturday, April 18, Guetta will go big as we stay home with a massive charity livestream taking place in his adopted base city of Miami.

Although details about the location are vague, organizers note that "the DJ Booth will be located in Miami Downtown, close to a swimming pool, and in the middle of a few high rise apartment buildings." Okay!

Production for the 90-minute performance will consist of just a few cameras and a drone, with the show taking on Guetta's Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Twitch, for select fans joining via Zoom and, of course, for the residents of all those high rise apartment buildings. The performance will also be available to stream live via the Billboard Dance Facebook page. The show starts at 6:00 p.m. ET/ 3:00 p.m. PT.

“I’m very excited to share what’s been in the works for some time now,” Guetta says in a statement. “My heart goes out to all those suffering from the global health pandemic and I hope that this livestream event will bring people together and help raise money for those in need.”

Proceeds from the livestream will benefit the World Health Organization,  Feeding South Florida, Feeding America and the Fondation des Hopitaux de Paris. The event will be produced in collaboration with the Miami Downtown Development Authority.

"David Guetta’s music has always brought people together," Christina Crespi, Executive Director of the Miami Downtown Development Authority says in a statement, "and while Miami – and the rest of the world – practices social distancing, there’s no better time to unite virtually for a common cause than now.”
