The Middle Eastern edition of the Miami-based festival was set to happen March 5-6.

Ultra is counting one less festival on their international calendar with the cancellation of Ultra Abu Dhabi. Today (March 3) an announcement on the festival's website appeared stating, "The local organizers of Ultra Abu Dhabi have canceled the upcoming event. Tickets will be refunded through original point of purchase."

Although not explicitly stated, the reason for this cancellation is likely tied to the coronavirus, which is causing a wave of other show cancellations worldwide.

Ultra Abu Dhabi was set to happen this weekend, March 5-6, with a lineup including Alesso, Afrojack, Dash Berlin, DJ Snake, Major Lazer, Zedd and more.

Ultra's flagship event in Miami remains on the calendar for March 20-22.
