Everything old is new again, so RAC got with newlyweds Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma to put a cool muted coat of dance-pop paint on Third Eye Blind's year 2000 smash "Never Let You Go."

The original pop-rock jam hit No. 14 on the Hot 100, and it remains a bubbly bop on this toned-down take. Quirky synths take the place of the bass and electric guitar, moving steady and cute over a perky lowkey beat. The trio's take on "Never Let You Go" is pleasant and breezy like strolling through a park on Sunday.

"This started out as something we were doing just for fun," RAC tweets, "and I think it comes through." It's the sound of having everything you need and not worrying about a single thing, or dancing in your socks across tile kitchen floor.

The feel-good throwback marks Duff's first musical release 2016's "Little Lies." The song is out now on Counter Records, and it premiered with a cute lyrics video.
