Nora En Pure Launches Purified Records With Marius Drescher 'Panem': Exclusive

Nora En Pure

South African DJ and producer Nora En Pure has created a whole world with her sultry vibe. Tropical atmopsheres, sensual grooves and driving rhythms are at the heart of her releases and her Purified radio show. In 2017, she took that show on the road with a series of Purified events, and now, the creator takes her universe to new dimensions with the launch of her own Purified label, with a three-track EP from Berlin-based fellow Marius Drescher.

The Panem EP is a steamy tech-house collection of progressive and propulsive tunes. It's a perfect mood for late-night warehouse sets and one the new label head says "has been making a real impact" in her recent performances.

"I've been envisioning Purified Records for some time now," the producer, born Daniela Di Lillo, tells Billboard Dance. "I wanted to create a label to release music along the lines of the music I play in my sets, so the label will definitely be more club-focused, featuring music that still touches, but has a lot of energy. It will be a platform for producers I like and want to support, and eventually my Purified events will also become label showcases for the releasing artists. The imprint completes the Purified brand and will help to strengthen the sound I believe in."

The Panem EP sees full release on Purified Records Friday, Nov. 22, but you can listen to the release in full a day early, exclusively on Billboard Dance.
