Kygo Takes 'Nightline' on a 48-Hour Trip to Vegas, Toronto & Back

Johannes Lovund

ABC's Nightline joined Kygo on a whirlwind weekend trip as the Norwegian DJ played three shows in 48 hours, from a Las Vegas poolside to a festival in Toronto and back again.

They go into his musical roots, his younger days learning to produce via YouTube tutorials, and tell the story of his meteoric rise to fame. We get up-close-and-personal with a ride in his private jet, remind ourselves of his classic hits, and hear all about his latest, a remix of Whitney Houston's “Higher Love.” It's the iconic singer's first Billboard Hot 100 hit since her 2012 death.

He tells about his love for the late Avicii and shows how he keeps himself healthy on the road. We get a short cameo from fellow DJ Tiesto. As Nightline puts it, “just another day in the life.”

It's all pretty basic stuff for Kygo, but it's always fun to see inside private jets. Watch the clip from ABC Nightline below.
