New Louis The Child

Chicago locals Louis the Child turned their homecoming set at Lollapalooza into a massive showstopper. Thousands turned up for the fresh-faced producers and had them singing along to hits "Better Not," "Love Is Alive" and more, and now, the duo are giving fans around the world a new jam to sing.

"Too Close" is an ode to unrequited love, featuring a bouncy future-bass pop melody and silky-smooth vocals from Wrabel. His cool crooning sound should be familiar to dance fans from previous collaborations with Marshmello on "Ritual" and Afrojack on "Ten Feet Tall." "Too Close" is catchy with a side of blues, a mood that would be balladesque if it didn't have such a darn danceable beat.

The single is out now on Interscope Records, and it's paired with the announcement of a 2019 fall tour across North America. It's called the Here for Now Tour, running through all of November into early December, with support sets by LÉON, Duckwrth, The Cool Kids, KAMI, Sebastian Paul, John The Blind and ilo ilo.

Tickets for the Here for Now Tour are currently on sale. Listen to "Too Close" with Wrabel, and check the full list of 2019 fall tour dates below.
