Elephante Announces Diamond Days 2019 Tour As 'The Natural Evolution': Exclusive

Forest Aragon

When LA producer/DJ Elephante created his sophomore EP Glass Mansion, he didn't just throw a few songs together and call it a day. He poured his soul into those nine tracks, trying his hand at broader instrumentation to make danceable hooks out of personal failure and regret. He took it up a notch when he created a visual environment in which his music could live, a digital true-to-life "Glass Mansion" that fans could explore. Now, he's set on a new endeavour, bringing live elements into his DJ fold for a 2019 fall tour based on a forthcoming release called Diamond Days.

"Diamond Days is a story about memory, regret, and nostalgia for the 'good old days,' back when your first love was going to be your only love," Elephante tells Billboard Dance. "It’s about wanting to go back to that imaginary time in your past and polishing it up so you can fix all your old mistakes. It’s the first chapter in the next era of Elephante music, about coming to terms with the 'elephant in the room' and embracing who you really are."

He called The Diamond Days Tour "the natural evolution" of his ever-building live show. His 3D-graphic production will wow fans with a new visual story designed around the release. The performance will be a hybrid of DJing and live performance to bring fresh interpretations of old songs and new material.

Diamond Days is set for release later this year, while the 10-date tour takes Elephante from California to Arizona throughout November. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 19, but fans can get in on a pre-sale contest via Audience Republic as early as Monday, July 15. Partipants can grab their early bird tix and earn points by sharing and following and inviting friends in order to win prizes like merch or dinner with Elephante.
