One, two, ShockOne's coming for you. Three, four, you'll be screaming for more. Five, six, Bloody Beetroots in the mix.
Australian producer ShockOne has a real screamer of a lead single for his fothcoming album A Dark Machine. His sophomore LP takes inspiration from classic scifi and horror soundtracks by Giorgio Moroder, Vangelis and John Carpenter, and that eery, thrilling presence is felt on "Run."
It's a doom-bearing display of harsh synth, stabbing textures and mosh-pit bass. With co-production from The Bloody Beetroots, it's got that classic electro-punk slasher feel that's sure to put the taste of bloody metal in your mouth. The single is paired with a highly-cinematic, vaguely-frightening music video, directed by Matsu.
