Diplo, Mr. Carmack & More to Headline Burning Man Art Fund-Raiser in San Francisco

Shane Lopeges

If you've ever been to Burning Man -- and even if you haven't -- you know at least half the fun is in the eye-popping art projects built out there on the playa. It's not easy to make these giant scupltures, glow-in-the-dark art cars and vibrant theme camps come together. In fact it takes a lot of time, energy and manpower, but it can be as much fun as it is work, and San Francisco's Burner community wants you to have as much fun as possible at their communal, five-stage block party fundraiser The Menagerie.

The event will lure fans in with music to raise funds for a host of Bay Area Burner camps. Headline performances include a special presentation from Burning Man regular Diplo. The cross-genre king will show off his skills as a house DJ, bringing the grooves of his recent Higher Ground EP to life. Beloved beatmaker Mr. Carmack will also be there, as will OWSLA groove lover Josh Pan, Art Department's Kenny Glasgow, Swedish house star Jonas Rathsman and more.

The Menagerie supports theme camps Camp?, Opulent Temple, Root Society, Duck Pond and The Kazbah, as well as the Dancetronauts, Bounce Car and Rynobus art cars. It comes to San Fransisco's Midway venue Saturday, July 6. Tickets are on sale now. Check the full lineup below.
