REZZ has always channeled her predilection for hard rock and heavy metal into her own throttling productions. On Wednesday (June 12), she takes that love a big step further via “Falling,” a collaboration with Aaron Gillespie of hardcore act Underoath, one of the many heavy rock outfits, including Marilyn Manson and Bring Me the Horizon, that REZZ grew up listening to.

The video for “Falling” features Gillespie trapped in a spooky, subterranean surgical center, while REZZ stalks around in the dark in her signature light-up glasses. Watch the clip below.

“Working with Aaron was so fun and effortless," REZZ says in a press release. “It was great to revisit some of what I consider my earliest musical inspiration."

"Working with Rezz has been such a shock to my system in every way,” Gillespie continues. “I never expected to be part of the electronic music world, and I never expected to like it as much as I do. Rezz’s talent speaks for itself. This song is so cathartic. I’m so stoked for everyone to hear it.”

REZZ debuted “Falling” last month at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, bringing Gillespie with her to sing for the massive crowd. (Underoath also went electronic last year with the band's Kayzo collaboration "Wasted Space.") “Falling” comes from REZZ’s forthcoming self-released Beyond the Senses EP, out July 14 and distributed by AWAL. Her Beyond the Senses tour launches later this month in New York and extends well into the fall. See the complete tour schedule below.
