Despite what the current president says, all scientific reports point to a rapid decline in Earth's human habitability. Research indicates that some 40 or 50 years from now, life will be far, far less comfortable, and we may indeed look to the stars for future homesteads.

Illenium is a music man, but he's also a dreamer and a guy who understand the seriousness of the situation. His latest music video for "Good Things Fall Apart" shows a dystopian world where humans flee a bubbling, lava-smothered planet, and it doesn't really have a happy ending.

We watch as two astonauts struggle to leave our dying home. Theirs is the last ship out, and while the storyline isn't exactly clear, they definitely get out of Dodge at the very last second. More of the video features performance shots of Illenium and his collaborator Jon Bellion as guitarist and singer, respectively, in a well-dressed military space band.

There is hope for humanity, though. Illenium's signature phoenix rises from the destruction. The video is dedicated "to those who have the courage to change the course we are on." Watch the official video for "Good Things Fall Apart" below.
