Remember when everyone said the world was going to end in 2012 because that's when the Mayan calendar ended? Heady house producer and DJ Damian Lazarus saw it not as the end of things, but as a beginning. He traveled to the jungles of Tulum, Mexico, and held a party called Day Zero.

When the world went on the next day as always, Lazarus continued to bring Day Zero and it's immersive, meta-spiritual atmopshere to the beach city. It's become a beloved tradition among his fans, and in September, Lazarus expands on his exotic universe by bringing  a second Day Zero event to the Masada area of southern Israel.

Like it's Mexican counterpart, Day Zero Masada Arena: Dwellers of the Dead Sea will bring an open-minded community of revelers to the world heritage site for music and merriment. Instead of a multi-day experience, the sngular party will run sunrise to sunset under the mountain that connects Israel to Jordan. No lineup has yet been announced, but the bill will be curated as always by Lazarus and his Crosstown Rebels crew.

Day Zero, the original, will return to Tulum in Janaury of 2020, but Day Zero Masada Arena: Dwellers of the Dead Sea comes to Israel Friday, Sept. 27, 2019. Presale tickets are on sale now. Check the official flyer below for more info.
