Last weekend's EDC Las Vegas brought many ravers bliss under the electric sky, but it wasn't without a hitch.

Saturday's second-night festivities were put on hold for a few hours when wind speeds became dangerously strong. Event organizers shut down the kineticFEILD and Quantum Stage until advisers approved continuation. According to local news outlet KTNV, fans received instructions to evacuate and seek shelter, missing out on later performances due to complicated transportation, but even those who waited out the storm missed canceled performances, Kaskade's incuded.

The "I Remember" producer took to Facebook to address the situation to fans.

"Weeks of preparation in finalizing new music... That rush of adrenaline right before I go on… The anticipation…," Kaskade writes, "I am sure it was not easy to close the stage but it was the right call."

Kaskade says he hopes to meet any fans who were disappointed on the road at his future club gigs. Of course, he's also a resident DJ for Las Vegas nightclub KAOS at Palms Casino Resort. Read his full message to fans below.
