Diplo, Sia & Labrinth Announce Debut LSD Album Release Date

In the 10 months since Diplo, Sia and Labrinth, under their supergroup pseudonym LSD, first released their debut song “Thunderclouds,” fans have been clamoring to see the group debut a full-length album. Now, the wait is almost over.

On Monday (March 11), the trio took to their respective Twitter accounts to tease the group’s debut album, saying it would be released on April 12. “I got to make an album with my favorite musicians,” Diplo wrote. “Labrinth, Sia and Diplo present … #LSD. Album out 4/12.” Labrinth also chimed in, saying that the new album has “been a long time coming with the squad.”

The news comes just a few months after the group released the remix of their track “Genius,” with Lil Wayne adding his own new verse to the song. Since their inception, LSD has released a total of three singles together, including “Thunderclouds,” “Genius” and “Mountains.”

Fans immediately reacted to the news, tweeting out their excitement at the prospect of a new album from the trio. “ITS ABOUT TIME!!” one Sia fan wrote on Twitter. “LOVERS LETS CELEBRATE.”
